What has been successfully coming together from an organizational and operational standpoint for the past year and a half is now also becoming evident in our joint market presence.
The name change is the next important step in the integration of the Gras Group—and at the same time a clear commitment to a shared future under a strong brand.
Hans-Wolfgang Geis and Jochen Geis, managing partners
Effective July 1, the former Gras companies will adopt the following new names:
• Gras Spedition GmbH & Co. KG becomes Geis Eurocargo Mittelrhein GmbH
• Gras Logistik GmbH becomes Geis Eurocargo Rheinland GmbH
• Network Logistics GmbH becomes Geis Eurocargo Rhein-Neckar GmbH
• Gras Transpack GmbH becomes Geis Logistics Solutions GmbH
Despite the new names, Geis is committed to absolute continuity: All services, contact persons, and existing agreements and contracts will remain unchanged. Customers will continue to benefit from the familiar teams, regional proximity, and the comprehensive service portfolio of the Geis Group.
“The unified brand identity makes visible what has long since grown together organizationally and operationally,” says Jens Köster, Managing Director of the companies that will operate under the Geis name in the future. “We are very much looking forward to this next step.”
The changes to the external image—such as signage, vehicle lettering, and digital channels—will be implemented gradually.
