Happy about Geis Krüger's successful start in Göttingen (from left): Jörg Rotthowe, Andreas Krüger and Marco Butter.
With this acquisition, we not only gain additional shipment volumes but also welcome 230 experienced employees. They bring valuable expertise in national and international road transport, air and sea freight, as well as warehouse logistics.
The management of the new Geis Krüger Internationale Spedition GmbH will be led by Marco Butter, who has been a managing director at Krüger since 2017, alongside our own management team. Andreas Krüger will also remain on board for a transitional period to ensure a smooth handover.
Our customers will benefit from an expanded network, additional capacities, and a broader range of services – all without compromising on the usual quality and personalised service. Starting in January 2026, Geis Krüger will also become an official part of the IDS network, replacing the previous Baunatal location. This will further enhance our role in Germany's largest general cargo cooperation.
A Warm Start in Göttingen
To mark the occasion, we welcomed our new colleagues with banners, beach flags, and a food truck. A personalised welcome card featuring a QR code linked to a video message from our Geis teams highlighted our commitment to making this day special.
It was important for us to make a statement and celebrate the start in Göttingen appropriately.
