On February 17, 2025, the Geis Group once again presented the Logistics Sponsorship Award. Together with Mayor Sebastian Remelé and THWS President Prof. Dr. Jean Meyer, Lassen praised the excellent achievements of the graduates and emphasized the importance of qualified specialists for the economic future. He appealed to the young talents to actively contribute to the further development of the industry.

The Geis sponsorship award for the best final theses in the Logistics and Logistics Bachelor's degree courses went to Tim Anschütz (1st place), Aman Swain (2nd place) and Ramil Imanov (3rd place). The three winners received certificates and cash prizes, while Tim Anschütz was also presented with a glass cube bearing the Geis logo.

Special recognition was also given to the international graduates, whose exceptional achievements were highlighted. Erik Lassen emphasized how essential it is to establish highly qualified specialists on the labor market - especially in light of the current challenges.

“With your skills, you will master the requirements of the industry excellently. My wish is to get more female students interested in logistics in the future in order to further strengthen diversity in our sector,” said Lassen.

The Geis Group not only supports young talents with the Logistics Sponsorship Award, but also intensifies its successful partnership with the THWS. In addition to the prize foundation, Geis is also involved by providing internships, working with student groups on projects and sponsoring a seminar room at the university.
