No sooner said than done – Warehouse logistics for Knorr-Bremse

What began as a logistics project for our long-standing customer Knorr-Bremse has grown into a true success story. In just a short time, it has evolved into a flagship project for our corporate group. The modern supply and distribution center in the south of Budapest stands as a symbol of reliability, flexibility, and highly efficient logistics processes.

A Flagship Location

At CTPark Vecsés, just a few kilometers from Budapest Airport, Geis has developed a high-performance warehouse with around 17,500 pallet positions. This is complemented by 8,650 narrow-aisle rack spaces and 2,500 positions for oversized carriers. Four warehouse lifts and an in-house crane system ensure smooth operations even for heavy goods.

Efficient Processes and Modern Technology

The Vecsés team operates with cutting-edge tools and clearly structured processes. Digital dispatching, camera systems for traceability, handheld scanners, and semi-automated forklifts are standard. Around 470,000 picks are processed annually with short lead times and the highest accuracy.

Geis also excels in flexibility for urgent delivery requests. Orders are processed and shipped within 48 hours, demonstrating that speed and quality can go hand in hand.
