From left to right: IDS Managing Director Tim Bittner presented the trophies to Karsten Oehrlein, Forwarding Manager Hans Geis GmbH + Co KG Kürnach (2nd place), Jörg Krasulsky, Forwarding Manager Geis Bischoff Logistics GmbH Lichtenfels, now Ebersdorf (1st place), and Till Olbrich, Senior Team Lead, Customer Service National DSV Road GmbH, Lahr (3rd place).

To determine the quality winner, Germany's largest general cargo cooperation evaluates its partner depots annually in terms of their service quality. In addition to factors such as the fulfilment of delivery promises for incoming consignments, the completeness of scans and the delivery quality of express consignments, the results of regular quality audits are also considered.

Top positions once again

Overall winner Geis Bischoff Logistics from Lichtenfels is at the top of the podium for the first time after finishing second last year. “Closing our old location in Lichtenfels as the winner makes us very proud. At the same time, we are taking this excellent result with us to our new location in Ebersdorf as a challenge for ourselves,” says Jörg Krasulsky, Forwarding Manager at Geis Bischoff Logistics Lichtenfels. "Our consistent quality management and our constant endeavours to provide the best possible service every day, to regularly put all processes to the test and to continuously improve the qualifications of our employees are reflected in this result."

The same applies to Hans Geis GmbH in Kürnach, which improved from third place last year to silver. Thanks to its consistently high-quality performance, the Geis team from Kürnach has been on the IDS winners' podium for the ninth time in a row.
