Geis honours best graduates

On 16 February, the Geis Group awarded the Logistics Prize for the eighth time. During a ceremony at the Old Town Hall in Schweinfurt, Erik Lassen, Managing Director of Geis Industrie-Service GmbH, honoured the three best graduates of the Logistics and International Logistics courses at the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences (THWS).

In the presence of Mayor Sebastian Remelé and THWS President Prof Dr Robert Grebner, Erik Lassen presented the prize for the best graduate of the winter semester 2023/24 to Marcel Gorbulizki. He received an award in the form of a glass cube with the Geis logo. Sanjeev Venkatesh Vurutur and Michael Walter were honoured in second and third place. All three winners were delighted to receive certificates and cash prizes.

Erik Lassen emphasised the outstanding performance of the award winners: "With their excellent degrees and application-oriented bachelor theses, they have positioned themselves perfectly for a promising career in our dynamic industry. I wish them and all the other graduates every success in the future and a good start to their careers."

By supporting talented students with the Logistics Award, the Geis Group is also strengthening its successful partnership with the THWS. Geis not only donates the prize, but also offers internships, realises projects with student groups and sponsors a seminar room at THWS.
